See All ReviewsDj didn’t really play any R&B music. Played some nice songs then played Mexican songs. I fthink if he played old school R&B and new school songs maybe the crowd would’ve been more hype 💯 then it ended before 2am like it was they or his bedtime 😭😭😭
The DJ sucked and the food was undercooked cooking to fast to serve everyone the outdoor patio is nice and comfy
I’m sharing my experience so future guests know what to expect. I purchased a ticket through Eventbrite, and the listing did not mention that the event was 25+. When I arrived, the security guard told me I had to pay an additional $20 because I’m 22. I stepped away and texted the number listed on the Eventbrite page for clarity. They told me to come back and show the text so I could be let in. When I returned, the security guard still hesitated and repeatedly asked me to “smile” before letting me inside. I did smile, but he continued to say “no smile, no entry,” making me stand outside in the cold while asking me to smile again. It felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. My silence and compliance during the situation were labeled as having a “bad attitude,” and I was told I needed to “be pleasant,” even though I remained calm and respectful the entire time. I shouldn’t have had to perform or act a certain way just to enter an event I already paid for. Here are a few points I want to highlight: • I should not have had to smile to be allowed entry. • My silence and compliance should not have been labeled as a “bad attitude.” • Being told to “be pleasant” was unnecessary and unfair. • I shouldn’t have been made to stand outside in the cold while being told to smile repeatedly. • No guest should feel pressured to act like a puppet to satisfy staff. • Age requirements should be clearly listed on the Eventbrite page. Overall, the communication was unclear and the interaction at the door felt unprofessional. I won’t be returning, but I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for others in the future.
